Last Thursday, June 27, the graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year of FORMA'T students who were completing their intermediate and higher education training cycle took place in the auditorium of ESCI – UPF in Barcelona. They were accompanied by some of their family members and friends. Also in attendance were teachers who have participated in their training over the last two years, and members of the governing bodies of the center.

After some introductory words, two students, representing their classmates, gave emotional speeches in which they highlighted the effort made during this period and the gratitude they feel for the support of the teaching staff and, above all, that of their families. In the presentations by the director of the centre, Rosa Martín, and the head of studies, Vicenç Gil, the importance of having learned to develop professional attitudes throughout the cycle was highlighted, which, together with the scientific and technical knowledge acquired, have prepared the students for their entry into the world of work and for continuing to grow in their professional careers. The comments reported by the hospitals, clinics, laboratories, primary care centres and other health centres where the students have carried out their internships show that it is precisely their good attitude, ability to work in a team and desire to continue learning, which is most valued in the students.

On this occasion, this year's graduating class was sponsored by Dr. Jordi Morillas, Head of the Intensive Care Medicine Service at the Hospital de Barcelona, one of the leading intensive care physicians in the country. In his words, Dr. Morillas encouraged the recent graduates to continue their training because health is a sector in which learning never stops, where new technologies and methods appear regularly, which allow for better care, but which require constant updating by professionals. He also stressed the need for them to take care of their own physical and emotional health now that they were going to join teams of professionals who look after the health of others. He reminded them that friends, family and healthy hobbies can be a help in replenishing energy in such a demanding profession. He concluded with words of encouragement and gratitude, which the staff at the centre undoubtedly agrees with: "Thanks to your efforts, the health sector is a little better today."

Finally, each student was given a commemorative diploma for the graduation ceremony. All attendees were invited to a snack to conclude this beautiful celebration.
