General Information

He Nursing Assistant Technician Degree It qualifies you to provide auxiliary care to patients and to act on the health conditions of their environment, as a member of a nursing team in specialized and primary care health centers, under the supervision of a graduate in nursing.

General Competencies

At the end of this training cycle, you will be able to:

  • Prepare materials and process information for the consultation/unit in the areas of their competence.

  • Provide auxiliary nursing care to the patient/client.

  • Take care of the sanitary conditions of the patient's environment and the medical material/instruments used in the different consultations/units/services.

  • Collaborate in the provision of psychological care to the patient/client, carrying out, at their level, the application of psychological support and health education techniques.

  • Perform instrumentation tasks on oral health equipment.

Qualification

Upon completion of the cycle, the student obtains the official title of Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician (TCAE), nationally recognized and valid for professional practice in health centers and hospitals.

Duration, Schedule and Modality

Duration: 1,400 hours, distributed over one academic year at the educational centre and three months of training in companies in the sector during the following year. Mode: In person and online (subject to availability). Schedules: Morning and afternoon shifts.

Requirements for Studying Vocational Training

Admission requirements:

To access the intermediate level cycle, you must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Be in possession of the Secondary Education Graduate Certificate (ESO) or a higher academic level.

  • Own a Basic Professional Title (Basic Vocational Training).

  • Have a Title of Technician or Auxiliary Technician or equivalent for academic purposes.

  • Having overcome the Second year of the Unified and Polyvalent Baccalaureate (BUP).

  • Having overcome the entrance exam for intermediate level training cycles, for which it is required to be at least seventeen years old in the year in which the test is taken.

 

Students with professional experience in this sector can validate the training units recognised through our Advice and Recognition Service. They can also be totally or partially exempt from the internship module. In addition, those with previous qualifications can request the corresponding validations provided for by the regulations.
